Cuotas Claras privacy policy

Cuotas Claras (“the App”) is a Shopify app made by cloud2k (“we”, “us”). It shows installment plans, payment-method discounts, promotions and badges next to product prices. This policy explains what data the App handles, why, and how it is deleted.

Data we collect

From merchants, when the App is installed:

• The store's Shopify domain and the access token Shopify issues to the App.
• The settings the merchant enters in the App: installment plans, discounts, promotions, messages and badges.
• Product and collection names and IDs, only when the merchant searches for them to apply a rule.

From shoppers: nothing. The App does not collect, store or process any customer data. It does not use cookies on the storefront and does not see orders, payments, addresses or browsing history. What shoppers see is calculated in their own browser from the product price and the merchant's settings.

How we use the data

• To show the configured texts and badges in the merchant's store.
• To operate, secure and troubleshoot the App.

We never sell data and never use it for our own marketing.

Service providers

We use our hosting and infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare) to run the App and store its data. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Retention and deletion

• Store settings are kept while the App is installed.
• When a merchant uninstalls the App we delete the store's sessions and settings. Shopify also sends a deletion request 48 hours later (shop/redact) and we confirm nothing remains.
• Because the App holds no customer data, customer requests Shopify forwards to us (customers/data_request, customers/redact) have nothing to return or delete.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, CCPA or LGPD), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Merchants can contact us directly to exercise these rights.

International transfers

cloud2k is based in Argentina and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. We rely on our providers' standard safeguards for these transfers.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced to merchants in the App.
